WHAT ARE TIPS?

The ever-evolving organizational structure of the Visions Council is based on different Councils inspired by the philosophy of Deep Ecology, the North American Bioregional Movement and the Rainbow Gatherings, in which many of the original organizers participated in the 70s and 80s.

The “Tips” are the specific thematic groups or areas of interest that create their own program or forum of activities throughout the event.
The number and focus of the Councils has evolved over the years. This year we experience a new way of organizing ourselves, based on a biomimetic design and honoring our connection with nature: the structure of an Amate tree embracing our encounter is our symbol and inspiration in this new convergence. The Amate tree has accompanied indigenous cultures since pre-Hispanic times, not only in the production of amate paper but also in traditional medicine and regeneration of ecosystems. Embraced by this mythical tree, we invite you to be part of this meeting.
